Providing parenting support activities and networking connection opportunities to ensure the growth of happy, healthy children across our region - Douglas, Klamath and Lake Counties!
One of 15 "parent hubs" across Oregon and an active member of Oregon Parenting Education Collaborative.
A non-profit providing group series, workshops and family activities on topics ranging from child development, the developing brain, managing stress, kindergarten readiness, and much more!
We offer free parent group series, workshops and family activities to all families. These range from one-night workshops to ten-week group series to multi-night fun family play to learn activities.
Our events offer you an opportunity to connect with other parents in your community who have children of the same age while building upon your existing parent skills.
Additionally, we provide information through articles, videos, on-line resources and local resources to help you on your parenting journey, from pre-natal to adolescents/teens.
We could not offer our programs free of charge without the Oregon Parenting Education Collaborative. OPEC is a partnership between four of Oregon’s largest foundations (The Oregon Community Foundation, The Ford Family Foundation, Meyer Memorial Trust and The Collins Foundation) and Oregon State University (OSU). In addition to funding, OPEC supports grantees through evaluation, technical assistance, and professional development led by OSU.
We also receive programming funds from our partners and various grant opportunities throughout each year. This allows us to customize our program offerings to each county we serve and the unique communities found there.
